Blackened Tilapia Tacos

  • 1 pound Tilapia filets
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • Slivered radish – approximately 3 radishes
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 lime cut into 8 wedges
  • cilantro for garnish
  • olive oil
  • favorite hard taco shell
  • Taco Tender


  1. Sprinkle fish evenly with blackening seasoning
  2. Bring a sauté pan to medium heat and add olive oil
  3. Cook fish through, approximately 4 minutes per side, depending on thickness
  4. Warm tortillas and place three into your favorite colored Taco Tender
  5. Fill tortillas with large chunks or blackened tilapia and garish with slivered radish, sliced avocado, diced red onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime
